A musical comedy about a married couple, Cilly and Claude, who surprisingly announce at their 50th wedding anniversary party that they are getting a divorce. Their quick decision the day of the party was prompted by Claude’s unthinking comment concerning a deep-seated resentment Cilly harbored for years. Their son, Sonny and his wife Lil are forced to evaluate their own marriage as well as Mom and Dad’s. This amusing look at the institution of marriage provides insight into the comment, “Marriage! There’s nothing like it! NO NOTHING!”
